Information
 The
Boutique Resort Mimpi Tulamben is located in Tulamben
a small village at the foot of Mount Agung on Bali's
east coast. The Bali's premier dive resort and spa,
the Mimpi Tulamben with superior rooms, deluxe bungalows
and ocean view suites is design in natural materials
offering a warm balinese style with modern facilities
and anemities.
The Mimpi Tulamben provides the perfect setting for
a relaxing holiday while exploring some of Bali's most
interesting underwater adventurelands. The wreck of
the USS Liberty lies just off-shore and instruction
by experienced professional PADI dive instructors is
available, as is rental equipment.
The small village of Tulamben, on Bali's north-eastern
coast is rather unremarkable at first glance. Its beach
is a spread of black sand covered by smooth, fist-size
rocks, the water-worn remains of rubble cast here by
the 1963 eruption of Mt. Agung. Tulamben is a 3 hour
drive (120 km) from the International Airport

in traditional Balinese style, all rooms are air conditioned
with private outdoor showers and minibars. A beautiful
open-air dining room is open all day, serving breakfast,
lunch and dinner.

Cottages. Each cottages furnished to a luxurious balinese
style and has its own secluded terrace with views out
over the landscape of colourful tropical garden. All
rooms are completed Individual controled Air-conditioning,
private bathroom (with outdoor shower, WC and small
garden), mini bar with small refrigerator, private safety
boxes, relaxed terrace or secure private gardens with
balinese begongs. The Sea View Cottages offers also
colour TVs with satelite channels).

Just 400m left of the Mimpi Resort Tulamben in 21 meters
deap lies the wreck of USS Liberty, built 1915, an impressive
100 m long remnant of WW II. On 11 January 1942, about
15 km southwest of Lombok, a Japanese submarine torpedoed
this armed vessel. One of the famoust Diving spots in
asia.
